FIVE NABBED FOR HUMAN TRAFFICKING

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 6 (Bernama) -- A man and five women from China were
arrested by police on suspicion of being involved in human trafficking in a raid
at an apartment in Jalan Klang Lama here on Feb 5.

DSP Razali Abu Samah, from City Police's anti-vice unit, said a 39-year-old
woman from China, who was a victim of the ring, was also rescued in the
operation.

"The ring's modus operandi was to promise jobs in Malaysia but on their
arrival here, the women are forced into the flesh trade," he said.

He added that police also seized 11 China passports in the raid
