Iran's Judiciary warns against riot acts during Bahman 22 rallies

TEHRAN, Feb. 7 (MNA) – Iranian Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadegh Larijani has warned against any riot acts in the Bahman 22 rallies on Thursday.
The Judiciary in cooperation with the police and the security forces will seriously deal with anyone who seeks to do counter-revolutionary acts during the day, Larijani told judicial officials on Sunday.
The Judiciary will not allow anyone to create any disturbances in the society, he added.
Iran has experienced sporadic unrest since the June 12 presidential election last year. The latest one took place on December 27, when protesters took to the streets in central Tehran and chanted slogans against top government officials. They clashed with the police and damaged public property.
