Chinese Vice President to arrive at Sana'a next Tuesday

SANA'A, 21 June, (Saba) - The 8th meeting of the Yemeni-Chinese
Joint Committee (YCJC) will be held in Sana'a next Monday co-chaired
by Communication and Information technology Minister Kamal al Jabri
and Chinese Minister of Commerce Chen.
The meeting will be coincided with the first visit of Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping to Yemen next Tuesday.
Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Hisham
Sharaf, chairman of Yemeni side in the preparatory committee of the
YCJC meeting said to Saba that the meeting will review and discuss
a number of issues related to mutual cooperation ties between Yemen
and China and means of crystallizing the two countries' trends over
improving and extending joint cooperation relations.
During his visit, Chinese Vice President Jinping is going to hold talks with President Ali Abdullah Saleh and Prime Minister Ali
Mohammed Mujawar. Jinping's visit will associate with the Chinese
government's announcement to provide a $12 million grant to Yemen.
Chinese and Yemeni officials will sign a number of mutual
cooperation agreements, including health, higher education and
culture fields.
