MODERATE QUAKE HITS SOUTHEAST OFF GORONTALO

Bandarlampung, Feb 8 (ANTARA) - A magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck southeast off Gorontalo city in the northern part of Indonesia's Sulawesi island on Monday.

The temblor which occurred at 04.21 a.m. was centered 80 km southeast of the capital of Gorontalo province at a depth of 105 km, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said in its official website.

The quake did not trigger a tsunami warning, it said.
