Ministerial committee discusses project of protecting Zabid city

SANA'A, June 22 (Saba)- A ministerial committee of protecting historical city of Zabid held its meeting on Sunday headed by minister of culture Mohammed al-Maflahi.

The meeting focused in the projects of protecting the historical city and steps taken by ministry of public works and roads and ministry of electricity, authority of lands, survey and urban planning, and general authority of protecting historical cities to
resolve problems in the city within a cabinet decree No. 437/2007 to resolve all problems facing protection of the city.

The meeting approved to send a memo to the ministry of planning and international cooperation over funding the project of new electric network in the city at sum of $ 4 million.
