ECONOMIC FORUM WINDS UP

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Economic Forum of Mongolia (EFM) under a slogan "Together we can" ended Tuesday. The two-day event was held in the Government House under auspices of Mongolia's Prime Minister S.Batbold.
In frames of the EFM, sub-meetings were held themed "Reform of Mongolia's budget", "Development of mining sector" and "Environment and green economy". Three sub-meetings titled "Reform of state registration", "Reform of capital market" and "Improving competitiveness" ran the second day of the forum. Leaders of these sub-meetings gave speeches on conclusions to the forum.
"Gist of a report given by famous economist Hernando de Soto continued the sub-meeting concerning state registration. The united registration is a big issue involved in economics. We cannot reach a newer step of development without bringing it into perfection. The state and all representations of civil society have reached a conclusion to make endeavor together," said Ch.Saikhanbileg MP, a chairman of the sub-meeting on state registration.
Attendees of the sub-meeting themed "Improvement of competitiveness" led by P.Tsagaan, an advisor to the State Head on mineral resources, energy and infrastructure, urged all Mongolians to strive for national competitiveness. They underlined an importance of creating a business favorable environment for it. D.Enkhbat MP pointed out an importance of developing the green economy for producing green products. According to him, Mongolia must develop its mining sector in order of reach the above goals.
At the end of the forum, the Premier S.Batbold said that the main result of the event was an idea of joint effort for Mongolia and its development. He emphasized that the EFM was held successfully, and underlined an importance of realizing the ideas created at this forum.
