DIPLOMATIC CREDENTIALS PRESENTED
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of South Africa B.Altangerel presented Tuesday his letter of credence to Jacob Zuma, the South African President.
After the meeting held after the ceremony, the Ambassador conveyed a greeting of Ts.Elbegdorj, Mongolia's President, to Mr Zuma. Then the dignitaries discussed issues of developing the relations and cooperation between Mongolia and South Africa and collaboration in the education and mining sector. South Africa's President underlined that he will pay an attention to widening the bilateral economic cooperation.
The same day, Mr Altangerel met with Mrs Susan Van der Merwe, Deputy Foreign Minister of South Africa; some officials of the Foreign Ministry; a Department head of the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy; and with a director of a department of the Ministry of Higher Education, and others.
