TENGKU FAKHRY SEEKS EMBASSIES' HELP TO SEND COURT JUDGMENTS TO MANOHARA

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 11 (Bernama) -- Tengku Temenggong Kelantan Tengku Muhammad
Fakhry Sultan Ismail Petra has sought the help of the Indonesian and United
States embassies here to get three court judgments reach his estranged wife,
Manohara Odelia Pinot.

His counsel Mohd Haaziq Pillay and Zainul Rijal Abu Bakar handed over the
High Court judgments to a representative of the Indonesian embassy Wednesday and
a representative of the US embassy Tuesday.

Two of the judgments were from the Kota Baharu Syariah High Court delivered
on Dec 13, 2009 for Manohara to return to her husband and to repay him a debt of
RM 1.11 million (US$321,2720).

The third is the judgment in default obtained by Tengku Muhammad Fakhry from
the Kuala Lumpur Civil High Court on Nov 5, 2009 over his RM105 million (US$30.6
million) defamation suit against Manohara and her mother Daisy Fajarina.

Mohd Haaziq said he had also sent the judgments to Manohara but she had not
responded.

"Therefore, we have sought the help of the Indonesian embassy to send the
judgments to Manohara for her to abide by them," he told reporters after handing
over the judgments to embassy official, Amiruddin Panjaitan, Wednesday.

Zainul Rijal said they did not give a time frame for the embassy to deliver
the judgments to the Indonesian model-actress.

He said they had also sought the assistance of the US embassy as Manohara
has dual citizenship as her father is an American.

Tengku Muhammad Fakhry, 32, and Manohara, 18, who holds the title of Cik
Puan Temenggong, married on Aug 26, 2008 and stayed at Mahkota Palace in Kubang
Kerian, Kelantan.

However, after nine months of marriage, Manohara suddenly returned to
Indonesia without the knowledge and permission of her husband.

On July 5, 2009, the Kelantan Sultan's third prince filed two suits at
the
Kota Baharu Syariah Lower Court and Syariah High Court against Manohara for her
to return to him and repay the debt accumulated before and after their marriage.

On July 20, Tengku Muhammad Fakhry filed a suit at the Kuala Lumpur High
Court over defamatory statements made to the media by Manohara and her mother
against him.
