TRIGANA AIR MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING IN SAMARINDA
Samarinda, Feb 11 (ANTARA) - A Trigana Air plane made an emergency landing in a paddy field in the Kampung Bone area, around 41 kilometers from Samarinda, at 11.30 central Indonesia standard time (WITA) on Thursday.
The plane which believed to have developed an engine problem before landing carried 46 passengers and a crew of five. There were no fatalities in the accident but some of the passengers were injured.
The ill-fated plane was on its way from Tanjung Selor city to Samarinda.
