Dead slider`s team-mate withdraws from Olympics.

WHISTLER, Canada, February 14 (Itar-Tass) - Levan Gureshidze, a
teammate of the late Georgia slider, Nodar Kumaritashvili, has withdrawn
from competitions at the Winter Olympic games in Vancouver.
Gureshidze didn't appear at the start for the first attempt although
he had been included in the protocol of competitions for one-seat
toboggans.
Prior to that he had refused to train.
Gureshidze was a classmate and the best friend of Nodar
Kumaritashvili in whose memory a minute of silence had been observed
before the start of competitions.
