OIL AND GAS TRANSPORTATION VIA MAIN OIL AND GAS PIPELINES INCREASE

Baku, 24 June, (AzerTAj)- 20,2 million tones of oil and 4,4 million cubic meters of gas were transported via the main oil and gas pipelines over five months, 2008, respectively, up by 29,7 % and 74,1 % on the same period last year, State Statistical Committee reported.

4/3 part of oil was transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and 28 percent of
transported gas falls to Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline.

1, 9 million cubic meters of gas was transported via this gas pipeline.
