Russia deputy PM meets India PM.

NEW DELHI, February 15 (Itar-Tass) -- Cooperation of Russia and India
in the sphere of telecommunications "has been developing intensively,"
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Sobyanin said on the results of a
meeting Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here on Monday.

"Interaction in the field of telecommunications, in particular in the
sphere of GLONASS, has bee been developing intensively," he said. Sobyanin
recalled that during a visit of the Indian prime minister to Russia in
December 2009 an agreement on the creation of a joint enterprise of
navigation instruments was reached. "Now we are working on the signing of
an agreement on the creation of this enterprise which will give a serious
impetus to the development of the two countries' cooperation in the field
of GLONASS and navigation instruments."
According to Sobyanin, over the last two years, relations of Russia
and India have intensified. "Intensive meetings have brought the dialogue
to a qualitatively higher level in all spheres of cooperation: from
culture to : defense industry, military and technical cooperation, nuclear
energy, pharmaceutics and many other fields," he noted.
