34 SUSPECTS OF BANDARLAMPUNG MOTORBIKE ROBBERIES ARRESTED
Bandarlampung, Lampung, Indonesia, Feb 17 (ANTARA) - The Bandarlampung city police have arrested 34 suspects of motorcycle robberies.
Among the suspects were those who committed the crime in various suburbs over the past ten days, a police officer said here Tuesday.
Chief of Bandarlampung police detective unit Commissioner Ardian Indra Nurinta said the suspects were nabbed on February 5.
Eight motorbikes and cash totaling Rp36.6 million had been seized for further investigation and trial, he said.
"These cases are related to conventional crimes that have created fear to the local population," he said.
Seven of the suspects were students, he added.***
