Iran's agriculture credit to rise 70%

TEHRAN, Feb. 17 (MNA) – The deputy chairman of Iranian parliamentary agricultural committee said that national agriculture credit will increase 70 percent next Iranian calendar year (starting March 21).

Kazem Farahmand said that next year $7 billion credit will be allocated to the agriculture sector.

He pointed out that $300 million will be allotted to farmers who have suffered from drought and cold weather and $600 million subsides will be paid to repay outstanding loans.
