POLICE RAID APARTMENT HOUSING DRUG-MAKING OPERATION

Jakarta, Feb 18 (ANTARA) - Police have seized 25,000 "Happy-5" tablets in a raid on an apartment in North Jakarta believed to house drug-making activity.

"The apartment was used to accommodate a virtual drug factory," Senior Commissioner Anjan P Putra, director of the Jakarta Police headquarters' drug division, said here on Thursday.

The police also arrested a man named Jansen as a suspect , and confiscated 25,000 Happy-5 tablets, 67 ecstasy pills, two kilograms of ketamine and five kilograms of methamphetamine in the raid.

Anjan said the raid on the North Jakarta apartment was a follow-up on information the West Jakarta police had obtained after arresting a drug dealer in the Mangga Dua area on Tuesday (Feb 16). .

In the Tuesday arrest, the police had also seized 55,000 ecstasy pills, 15,050 Happy-5 tablets, 2.3 ounces of ketamine and 1.3 ounces of methamphetamine.
