PLTU JEPARA CONTRIBUTES 11.5 PCT OF ELECTRIC ENERGY
Jepara, C Java, Feb 18 (ANTARA) - Coal-fired power plant PLTU Tanjung Jati B will contribute 11.5 pct of its electric energy to the Jawa-Bali power grid following the operation of units 3 and 4 each having a capacity of 660 megawatts (MW).
"Previously, PLTU Tanjung Jati B has two units, namely units 1 and 2 each with a capacity of 660 MW which contributed 9 percent to the Java-Bali power grid," operations director for Java, Madura and Bali I Gusti Agung Ngurah Adnyama said when inaugurating a boiler steam drum lifting unit 3 of PLTU Tanjung Jati B units 3 and 4 in Jepara Thursday.
With units 3 and 4 the contribution to the Java-Bali power grid will reach 11.5 percent.
