CABINET MEETING HELD



Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Cabinet meeting held Wednesday did not back draft amendment to the law on "Regime of parliamentary session meeting" initiated by the State Head of Mongolia.
The cabinet adopted the united plan of measures of preventing terrorism in the years 2010-2012. The cabinet decided to issue a resolution after gaving discussed an agenda to alter the resolution on announcing name of exchange.
In accordance with a governmental decision, money will be allotted from the reserved fund for the participation of Mongolia in the Expo-2010 International Fair to be held from May 1 to October 31 in Shanghai, China. The Foreign Minister G.Zandanshatar was ordered to introduce the result of this participation to the cabinet within December 2010. By a preliminary calculation, the World Expo-2010 having a motto "Better City - Better Life" will be attended by some 200 countries and will be watched by 70 million people.
The government decided to issue a resolution after approving a national strategic plan on preventing the HIV/AIDS and sexually-transmitted diseases to be realized in 2010-2015. Deputy Premier M.Enkhbold, Minister of Finance S.Byambatsogt and Health Minister S.Lambaa were told to take related measures. Some governmental members, heads of agencies, the city's Mayor and provinces' governors were ordered to implement the strategic plan pursuant to their power and in frames of their areas.
