Minister of Economy arrives in Algeria
Algiers, June 25 (WAM) - Minister of Economy HE Sultan bin Saeed al
Mansouri arrived in Algeria on Monday heading UAE delegation to participate in the sixth meeting of the UAE-Algeria joint committee due to start tomorrow in the Algerian capital.
Upon arrival, Al Mansouri and the accompanying delegation were received by the Algerian Finance minister Kareem Judi, UAE ambassador to Algeria Ahmed Mahmoud al-Housni, Algerian ambassador to UAE Hamid Chabira and other officials.
In a statement made to media persons shortly after arrival, Al Mansouri reiterated the importance of enhancing bilateral ties between UAE and Algeria, and said that the joint committee will explore the ways for strengthening relations especially in the fields of trade, investment and economy.
The sixth meeting of the joint committee will discuss the role of the private sector in enhancing the bilateral economic relations between the two countries, Al Mansouri added.
