AZERBAIJAN RENDERS FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ORGANIZATION OF ISLAMIC CONFERENCE
Baku, 25 June (AzerTAj) - Azerbaijan rendered financial support in US $ 500.000 to the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) to strengthen the structure’s activity and apply the new charter, press secretary of Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Ministry Mr. Khazar Ibrahim said in his Monday briefing.
Mr. Ibrahim underlined that Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Vagif Sadikhov informed about this decision during the meeting of the OIC Foreign Affairs Ministers Council held in the Uganda capital of Kampala.
Khazar Ibrahim emphasized that some resolutions were adopted during the Kampala meeting. The documents condemns Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan, demands withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan and indicates that the damage caused to Azerbaijan by the Armenian occupation so far is about $60 billion.
