MALAYSIAN UNIVERSITY STAGES LONGEST MONOLOGUE THEATRE
PENANG, Feb 20 (Bernama) -- University Science of Malaysia (Universiti Sains
Malaysia - USM) Saturday staged a six hour non stop monologue theatre, the
longest in the country's history.
The monologue theatre themed 'Together We Prevent Corruption" staged from
9am-3pm went into the Malaysia Book of Records.
A tired Khairol Azhar Abdul Jalil said that he was satisfied for making a
new record for the longest monologue theatre.
Project chairman Nurmaizatulhana Othman said the theatre's objective was to
educate the young on the need to eradicate corruption and power abuse.
The old longest monologue theatre record was 4.4 hours made in 2003 in
Johor.
