Outside parties dictated part of IAEA report: Rafsanjani

TEHRAN, Feb. 21 (MNA) -- Expediency Council Chairman Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani has said that part of the latest International Atomic Energy Agency report on Iran’s nuclear program was dictated by certain parties outside the agency.
In an Expediency Council session in Tehran on Saturday, Rafsanjani stated that one part of the report could not have been produced by an independent international body.
In a report issued on Thursday, the UN nuclear watchdog claimed that it has concerns that Iran may be working to develop a nuclear-armed missile.
Iran says that its nuclear activities are being conducted to meet the country’s growing demand for energy and the IAEA has never found evidence that its nuclear program has been diverted to weapons production.
Rafsanjani said the West is waging a psychological war against the Islamic Republic and is seeking to build a consensus against the country but the West’s efforts are doomed to fail.
