COMPLEX OF CENTRAL ASIAN NOMADS TO BE ESTABLISHED

Ulaanbaatar,/MONTSAME/ Authorities of the Academy of Sciences (AS) were received Friday by the Prime Minister S.Batbold. The administrative officials of the AS introduced to the Premier a project named "Central complex for history and culture of central Asian nomads".
According to the AS authorities, this complex will be erected near the place named Khoshigtiin khondii where a new international airport will be constructed, and 40 kilometers of north-west from central point of Ulaanbaatar city. It will have 11 buildings--museums of paleontology, Hunnic studies, Chingish Khaan, culture, a gallery of the Mongolians in the 20th century, a central museum of history and culture of central Asian nomads, a sports arena, automobile garages, service center, administration office and a hotel.
It is considered that domestic and foreign tourism will be developed after constructing the complex. "This new complex will be the biggest center to research the Mongolian studies and big role of nomads for the mankind history," said B.Enkhtuvshin, the AS's president.
The Premier appreciated the project. Then he underlined cultural heritage and exhibits must be in the state protection, and said the state will render certain support to this work. The Prime Minister suggested the AS to study a possibility to issue stocks at the Stock Exchange after founding a stock exchange company of the complex.
By the way, the 2220th anniversary of the first state of central Asian nomads will be celebrated in 2011, and the 850 birth anniversary of Chingis Khaan--in 2012. The first stage of construction works will run in 2010-2012, and the second stage--in 2013-2015, according to the project.
