ABOUT CONCERT OF WORLD KAZAKHS

Ulaanbaatar,/MONTSAME/ A concert named “Ground of motherland--gold” was given on February 18 in the “Kazakh Concert” theatre in Almaty city, Kazakhstan, dedicated to 70th anniversary of founding Mongolia's Bayan-Olgii province. The concert organized by the Union of World Kazakhs led by the Kazakh President N.A.Nazarbayev brought together some 1,000 people.
Greetings were conveyed at the concert by Kh.Ayurzana, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Kazakhstan; Talgat Mamashev, a vice-president of the World Kazakhs' Union; and Dr. K.Zardykhan addressing Kazakh people.
Performances were given by Mongolian cultural and arts figures, groups such as E.Khavlash, a People's Artist of Mongolia; D.Tuvshinbayar, a State Honored Artists of People; Foremost Cultural Artists of Mongolia Badelkhan, Guljamila; the “Ord” group; and D.Altanguli, a foremost voluntary artists.
After the concert, the Mongolia's Ambassador gave an interview to a Kazakhstan's national TV channel “Khabar” and a national radio, concerning the Mongolia-Kazakhstan relations and cooperation and about the concert.
