Iran's Judiciary chief calls for ratification of crime prevention bill

TEHRAN, Feb. 24 (MNA) -- Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani has asked MPs to promptly revise and ratify the crime prevention bill.
At a meeting with the Majlis Social Committee in Tehran on Tuesday, Larijani said great efforts were made to prepare the bill, but the Guardian Council rejected it, and now the parliament must revise the bill and ratify it.
He also stated that the Judiciary and the parliament should increase their cooperation in efforts to revise ambiguous laws in order to prevent crime in society.
