Iran inks 12 trade agreements

TEHRAN, Feb. 24 (MNA) – Iran has signed preferential and free trade agreements with 12 countries to facilitate trade, an official with the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran stated.

“Kyrgyzstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Uzbekistan, Cuba, Venezuela, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Tunisia, Syria, Turkey and Indonesia are the twelve countries,” Seyyed Hossein Hosseini said on Tuesday.

The TPOI plans to sign new accords with some other countries such as Lebanon as well, he noted.

This is a good way to consolidate relations with other countries and help the private sector to enhance its capabilities, increase exports and expand production, he said.
