Russia hopes for resumption of talks on North Korea - FM.

MOSCOW, February 25 (Itar-Tass) - Russia hopes for resumption of the
six-party talks on North Korea's nuclear problem, a Russian foreign
ministry official told Itar-Tass on Thursday.
"We proceed from the assumption that we will be able to find a
mutually advantageous outcome to resume the six-party process. The
contacts are underway, the parties are searching for solutions," he said.
"The situation is not easy. However, we believe that sooner or later
the talks will resume, of course, it's better for them to start sooner,"
he said adding that none of the parties mentioned that it rejects the task
of denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula or the six-party format talks.
It is expected that next week Moscow will host the meeting on North
Korea's problem.
