Leading air cos prepare charter flights to Austria for Russia fans

Moscow, June 26 (Itar-Tass) - Russia's leading air companies have
prepared for Thursday special charter flights from Moscow to Vienna for Russian soccer fans that want to see on the stadium the Euro-2008
half-final match between Russia and Spain.

Spokesman for Moscow's Domodedovo airport Eldar Tuzmukhametov told
Itar-Tass that three additional flights of the air carriers Sibir,
Transaero and Austrian will depart from the airport to the Vienna-based
airport Schwechat at 12:55, 13:50 and 14:15, correspondingly. "All fans
that are flying for the match will be serviced as ordinary passengers of
international airlines," said Tuzmukhkametov.

The largest national air carrier Aeroflot also is preparing another
five charter flights to Vienna for Thursday. According to the company's
press service, the flights will depart from Sheremetyevo airport at 06:30,
07:15, 08:30, 10:15 and 10:35, Moscow time.

He company officials said as well that "all regular flights of
Aeroflot to Austria will also depart on schedule. They said it was also
"decided a day before the match to change the type of planes that are
flying in this direction." "We have provided for these flights the A-321
airliners that are more spacious," according to the press service.

But even those Aeroflot passengers that will be in flight during the
match will all the same be able to learn the latest news from the
Euro-2008 stadium. Thanks to the company's flight control centre, the
pilots will get updates of the Russia-Spain football game from the centre
and immediately pass the information to passengers using the public
address equipment.
