OSCE Sec-Gen, Tajik leaders to discuss cooperation
DUSHANBE, June 26 (Itar-Tass) - Cooperation between Tajikistan and the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) is to be discussed by Marc Perrin de Brichambaut, OSCE Secretary-General, who arrives in Tajikistan on Thursday for a two-day visit.
The OSCE Sec-Gen is to hold talks with Tajikistan's Foreign Minister and is scheduled to meet with President Emomali Rakhmon.
Perrin de Brichambaut will attend the opening of an international
forum on the prevention of water-related natural calamities. The forum
opens in Dushanbe on June 27.
Tajik Foreign Ministry spokesman Davlat Nazri has told Itar-Tass that the leading experts on water problems from tens of countries, and
representatives of influential international organisations have been
invited to take part in the forum.
