MISC SELLS SINGLE-HULL CHEMICAL TANKER FOR US$2.5 MIL

KUALA LUMPUR, March 1 (Bernama) -- Shipping company MISC Bhd has completed
the sale of MT Bunga Semarak, a 15,999 deadweight (DWT) single-hull chemical
tanker, to PT Waruna Nusa Sentana for US$2.5 million.

The disposal was in line with MISC's asset management strategy to phase out
single hulled vessels and maintain a modern fleet of chemical tankers for the
portfolio and trading requirements of MISC's Chemical Business Unit, it said in
a filing to Bursa Malaysia (Malaysia's stock exchange).

On Sept 1, 2009, MISC announced the completion of the en bloc sale of
MISC's Anggerik Class vessels, consisting four 29,900 DWT single-hull chemical
tankers for US$14.0 million.
