Iran's Ayatollah urges clemency for jailed youth not linked to foreigners
QOM, Iran, March 6 (MNA) -- Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi has suggested that the young people who were arrested during the post-election incidents who have no links with foreigners be granted clemency.
“We know that some of these youth became overexcited and resorted to some violence and they should be guided, and if they are not aligned to certain corrupt foreign groups, be granted clemency,” the ayatollah’s office said in a statement issued on Thursday.
