Iran opens largest production line for anti-cancer drugs
RASHT, March 7 (MNA) -- Iran has opened the Middle East’s largest production line for anti-cancer pharmaceuticals.
The production line was inaugurated on Wednesday at the Sobhan chemotherapy plant in Rasht, Gilan Province.
A wide range of antibiotics and anti-cancer drugs are produced at the factory, which helps reduce the country’s dependence on foreign countries for pharmaceuticals, Gilan Province Governor General Ruhollah Ghahremani told the Mehr News Agency.
