Iran, Kuwait to hold joint commercial committee
TEHRAN, March 7 (MNA) -- The Iranian deputy commerce minister and the director of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) accompanied by a delegation of private sector traders and businessmen as well as government officials is going to travel to Kuwait today.
According to a TPOI official here on Saturday, the delegation will meet Kuwaiti government and banking officials and figures from the private sector and visit the Shuwaikh Free Trade Zone and major trade areas.
A trade MOU will be signed during their meeting.
In the past 10 months over $120 million of goods including carpets, livestock, pistachio, stones, and iron were exported to Kuwait and $80 million worth of cars and other products were imported from that country.
