Swedish children to become familiar with Iranian national dolls
TEHRAN, March 8 (MNA) -- Iran’s national dolls Dara and Sara will be introduced to Swedish children during Iran Sweden Children Friendship Week.
The week, held by the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA), will begin March 8 in Stockholm with Iranian experts introducing a part of Iranian culture to Swedish children.
233 books in Persian and English, as well as books and films on the subject of learning Persian and textbooks used in the Iran Language Institutes will be introduced during the week.
Some forty games for children created by the IIDCYA will be on display during the event.
Several workshops are scheduled for the week to introduce different areas of Iranian art, including painting, pottery and collage. In addition, educational entertainment will also be held to introduce traditional Iranian architecture.
IIDCYA Films and short animations as well as a documentary on Persepolis with English subtitles will go on screen at the event.
