The Moscow International Film Festival announces its winners
MOSCOW, June 29 (Itar-Tass) - The Moscow International Film Festival announced its winners at the closing ceremony on Saturday. A film by a French film director Marion Laine won a special prize of the 30th Moscow International Film Festival. "A Simple Soul" which is a screen version of the famous novel by Gustave Flaubert is a debut for its young female author.
However, the main prize- the Golden Saint George- was awarded to a
film "As Simple as That" by Iranian director Sayed Reza Mir-Karimi. This picture depicts the life and manners of a modern Iranian family by showing one day from the life of an ordinary Iranian woman. In 2001, Karimi's film "Under the Moonlight" won a prize at the Cannes International
