Putin believes that Russian-Indian cooperation in the struggle against
terrorism is successful and he also proposed to support Pakistan in this
struggle. Putin stated about it at an online conference with the Indian
public on Friday.
Putin noted that Afghanistan is situated in the immediate proximity
from the borders of Russia and India. This country "causes concerns not
only for us, but also for the whole region and the international
community." "Unfortunately, some part of Afghanistan is still used by the
terrorists, and we are quite concerned over it," the Russian premier said.
Putin believes that it is necessary to take into account the efforts
taken by the Pakistani government, which has intensified the struggle in
