Russian, Chinese diplomats discuss Central Asian security, stability.

MOSCOW, March 12 (Itar-Tass) -- Russian First Deputy Foreign Minister
Andrei Denisov and his Chinese counterpart Wang Guangya met in Beijing on
Friday to discuss stability and security in Central Asia, the Russian
Foreign Ministry said.

"The sides discussed a broad range of topical international and
regional issues and put the emphasis on the situation in areas bordering
on Russia and China, including stability and security in Central Asia, as
well as the activity of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO)," the
ministry said.
The sides signed a plan of foreign ministerial consultations for this
year.
