CH.NARANBAATAR MEETS DRAUGHTS PLAYERS ++SP

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Ch.Naranbaatar received Monday draughts players who took part in the first international draughts competitions of three countries that were held March 2-8 in Yichun city, China.
Congratulating the players for the brilliant success, Ch.Naranbaatar suggested Mongolia's Federation of Draughts to organize the biggest competitions in Mongolia. A master of the World Draughts Federation (FMJD) O.Tuvshinbold accepted this proposal.
Mongolia was represented by 10 draughts players at these international competitions. Of them, R.Manlai, a FMJD master; D.Erdenebileg, a Great Master, and O.Tuvshinbold took first three places in the men's contest. The youngest player--14-year-old girl M.Nyamjargal, a Deputy Master of the FMJD--took the 2nd place in the women's contest.
