CALL ON MUSLIMS TO BOYCOTT SWEDISH PRODUCTS

KUALA LUMPUR, March 16 (Bernama) -- Muslims have been urged to boycott
Swedish products over the depiction of cartoons mocking Prophet Muhammad in
several newspapers.

Ismail Mohamed Said, a Member of Parliament said Sweden should apologise to
Muslims over blasphemous caricatures of Muhammad by artist Lars Vilks.

"The cartoons have offended Muslims. Haven't they learned a lesson when
Danish cartoons mocking Prophet Muhammad enraged Muslims around the world in
2008," he said when debating the royal address in the House of Representatives
here Tuesday.

Vilks has received several death threats.
