Rebels prevent over 1000 students examinations in Saada
SAADA, July 30 (Saba)- An official source revealed on Monday that
more than 1000 student have been prevented from performing
examinations in some districts of Saada province, the north of Yemen.
Director general of the Education Office in the province Naji
al-Ghaithi said that the students who displaced from Saqayn and
Haydan districts could not perform the primary and secondary levels'
final examinations because of "the rebellion and subversion gang led
by the terrorist Abdul-Malik al-Houthi has blown up a number of
schools and controlled others as well as expulsion of teachers".
Al-Ghaithi quoted by the military-run 26sep.net as saying that the
examinations commission in the province had sent a report on the
situation of the students to Education Ministry, suggesting the
students would be examined after the ending of the rebellion in
Saada.
Al-Ghaithi affirmed that more than 12000 students are currently
examined in the other districts of Saada according to what is
planned.
