GOMOBILE EVENT IN LINE WITH NAJIB`S AIM, SAYS INDIAN DEPUTY HIGH COMMISSIONER

KUALA LUMPUR, March 18 (Bernama) -- The GoMobile Show, to be held soon in
India, is in-line with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak's aim of
increasing business between both countries.

India's Deputy High Commissioner to Malaysia, B.N. Reddy said Najib's
counterpart Manmohan Singh, has also conveyed his own desire to improve business
initaitives.

This happened during Najib's recent visit to India, a country with a 1.14
billion population.

GoMobile is a mobile lifestyle event consisting of three components,
namely a consumer, trade and sales exhibition, the GoMobile conference and a
Gala Dinner, where personalities from the mobile industry gather annually.

"The event is now expanding to India after the success attained during the
three years it was staged in Malaysia.

"Moving to India is also an initiative to help reach the one billion mobile
subscribers target by 2013, set by the Indian government," Reddy said after the
signing ceremony to appoint Mira Consulting Incorporated Sdn Bhd as the
appointed GoMobile partner for India by Commtechasia Sdn Bhd.

Commtechasia is the organiser of the Malaysian GoMobile Show.

Also present at the ceremony was the Chief Executive Officer of the
Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC), Badlisham Ghazali.

According to Reddy, India is the fastest growing mobile market worldwide,
with more than 550 million subscribers, and a steady monthly growth of 15
million.

On the GoMobile Show in India, Badlisham said Malaysian companies with MSC
status, are expected to comprise between 20 to 30 per cent of the more than 200
organisations expected to showcase their products and solutions.

The Indian GoMobile show is slated to be held over a week, between July and
September, this year.

"We are also still looking at potential venues.But, we have shortlisted
the cities of Bangalore, Chennai or Hyderabad," said Ranganathan Sriram, the
Chief Executive Officer of the MCI Group of Companies, the parent company of
Mira Consulting.
