Results of March 14 voting may be cancelled in 3 districts - Churov.
MOSCOW, March 18 (Itar-Tass) -- Results of the March 14 voting may be cancelled in three municipal formations, head of the Russian Central
Election Commission (CEC) Vladimir Churov said at a meeting of the United Russia's Liberal Club on Thursday.
A total of 6,200 elections of various levels were held throughout
Russia on March 14, a common election day. "So far, only three cases were
reported when election results might be cancelled in small municipal
formations," he said, referring to St. Petersburg, Moscow region and in
the Trans-Urals region.
The final decision has not yet been reached although "court procedures
are in progress," he said.
