Russia to begin building nuke research centre in Vietnam in 2012.

ST PETERSBURG, March 23 (Itar-Tass) - Russia's Atomstroiexport will
begin to build a nuclear research centre in Vietnam in 2012, the company's
Vice President, Timur Bavlakov, told the regional forum of nuclear
industry suppliers ATOMEX - North-West on Tuesday.
"The launch of a nuclear research centre is scheduled for 2017. At
present, the relevant documentation is being prepared," he said.
"Vietnam's government has already taken a decision to build four
nuclear power units and is eyeing an opportunity for building another four
units in the country's north in the future," Bavlakov said.
