Some 400 policemen injured in Mongolia rioting
BEIJING, July 2 (Itar-Tass) - At least four people died in overnight rioting in the Mongolian capital UIan-Bator at the head quarters of the ruling Mongolian National Revolutionary Party and in the city streets, Mongolian television reported.
It is the only channel that continues to work in the conditions of a state of emergency introduced in the city.
About 400 police officers have been injured in the unrest. Police
arrested 480 most active participants in the rioting, the television
reported.
A Japanese citizen that was injured in the night clashes, according to specified reports, is a staff member of the Fuji TV company. He got a basal skull fracture when hit with a stone.
