VP VISITS WEST KALIMANTAN
Pontianak, March 26 (ANTARA) - Vice President Boediono visited West Kalimantan on Friday to have a dialog with People's Business Credit (KUR) recipients at Kuala Dua village in Kubu Raya district.
The vice president held the dialog at 10 am local time with the people who received the credit from BRI, BNI, Mandiri, Syariah Mandiri, k Bukopin, and BTN banks.
Besides having the dialog, the vice president also symbolically presented the KUR to the recipients and then inspected the foundation of a bridge which was constructed with the assistance from Mandiri Community Empowerment National (PNPM Mandiri) program.
West Kalimantan provincial administration spokesman Numsuan Madsun said that in the visit to the province, the vice president was accompanied by his wive Herawati Boediono, National Education Minister Muhamad Nuh, Forestry Minister Zulkifli Hasan, Health Minister Endang Rahayu Setianingsih, State Minister for State Enterprises Mustafa Abubakar, Public Works Minister Djoko Kirmanto, and State Minister for Disadvantaged Regions Ahmad Helmy Faishal.
Numsuan said that at noon of Friday the vice president would perform Friday prayer at Mujahidin grand mosque, and after than visit Alianyang community health center to hand in health equipment and an ambulance.
On Friday evening the vice president is scheduled to have a gathering with West Kalimantan governor and vice governor, district heads and mayors, subdistrict heads, and provincial legislative assembly (DPRD) members.
