LAWMAKER: 149 COMPANIES WITH TAX PROBLEMS INVOLVED WITH GAYUS

Jakarta, Apr 1 (ANTARA) - A total of 149 tax-riddled companies were also involved with Tax Directorate General official Gayus Tambunan, member of Commission III of the House of Representatives Bambang Soesasetyo said.

"I have the list (of the tax problem companies). This is relevant to Gayus, and some of them are covered by Gayus's bank account," Bambang Soesatyo said after meeting Police Chief General Bambang Hendarso Danuri at the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta Thursday.

Bambang revealed Gayus' suspicious account of Rp25 billion allegedly connected with taxation, money laundering and corruption.

Bambang suspected that Gayus was also implicated in tax offenses involving hundreds of companies.
