ABOUT MONGOLIAN DAY IN POLAND

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Embassy of Mongolia in the Republic of Poland, the Poland-Mongolia Friendship Society and the Museum of West Masovia in Zyrardów city have opened an exhibition and day named "Mongolia-Vast country of blue sky" on occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Mongolia-Poland diplomatic relations.
Mayor of Zyrardów city Andrzej Wilk; a counselor of Mongolia's Embassy B.Dorj and head of the Poland-Mongolia Friendship Society G.Tsessak gave speeches at the opening ceremony.
During the day, photos and items showing Mongolian culture, traditionû and nature were mounted, Mongolian national foods were offered in a ger (national dwelling), erected outside of the museum, and a video was shown about Mongolia. Reports and speeches were delivered about the political and economic situation of Mongolia and opportunities of its tourism sector. A Foremost Cultural Worker of Mongolia Baasanjargal and Tsessak sang Polish and Mongolian songs. Then the Friendship Society displayed a collection of Mongolian national costumes and explained the Mongolian traditions.
