PREMIER MEETS PRIVATE SECTOR REPS

Ulaanbaatar,/MONTSAME/ Prime Minister S.Batbold received Friday reps of private sector in frames of works for the year of reform of business environment. Present at the meeting were S.Bayartsogt, the Minister of Finance; D.Zorigt, the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy; Kh.Battulga, the Minister of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development; G.Zandanshatar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs; T.Badamjunai, the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry; advisors to these Ministers and other officials.
At the meeting, the Premier gave a report to the reps on measures taken by the government and decisions such as on the investment agreement of the Oyu tolgoi project, on the Tavan tolgoi coal deposit, on ways to grant MNT 1.5 million of the Human Development Fund (HDF) to every citizen of Mongolia, on decision about developing railways and infrastructure, some plans, and on a program of providing people with apartments.
Batbold underlined that he holds this meeting in order to seek opportunities for developing cooperation in realizing these measures with active participation of private sector, and then requests the guests to express their opinions. They discussed and shared views on related issues and received responses from the Premier.
