Mongolian authorities ask media not to disseminate calls for unrest.

ULAN BATOR, April 5 (Itar-Tass) - The Mongolian government asked the
mass media to refrain from disseminating the reports calling for
disturbances and government overthrow. "In the past few days, some
non-government associations, civil movement organizations and individuals
have been openly urging citizens through the mass media to seize power
unconstitutionally, and inciting them to violence. This will lead to the
unsettling of the situation in the society and disrupt the citizens' calm,
which is fraught with serious consequences," said the government statement
cited by the Mongolian press on Monday.
The government called upon the national media outlets "to refuse to
disseminate the reports, and show films and programs that propagate
murders and violence and call for disturbances," the Montsame agency said.
It did not specify which forces are threatening to undermine the public
order in Mongolia.
