Russia, Turkmenistan presidents issue common statement
ASHGABAT, July 5 (Itar-Tass) - Presidents of Russia and Turkmenistan
Dmitry Medvedev and Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov issued a common statement.
This document dwells on the major results of the Friday negotiations in Ashgabat.
Several documents were signed in the attendance of the presidents. An
agreement on cooperation between the governments of the countries on the
mutual protection of classified information was signed.
The sides also signed a memorandum between the Culture Ministries of
the countries for 2008-2010 and an agreement on cooperation in education.
The foreign ministries signed a cooperation program for 2008-2009.
