Russia, Turkmenistan have no disagreements in gas cooperation-adds

ASHGABAT, July 5 (Itar-Tass) - Russia and Turkmenistan have no
disagreements in the gas cooperation and the transition to the market
principles of pricing, Russian presidential aide Sergei Prikhodko said on Friday.

"The presidents of Russia and Turkmenistan discussed the cooperation
in the fuel and energy complex," he said. "Dmitry Medvedev took with
understanding the position voiced by the Turkmen president that the
Turkmen gas pricing should shift to market principles," he pointed out.

"There are no disagreements in the issue, it was necessary to do it a long
time ago," the presidential aide said. "Today the conditions are more
favourable," Prikhodko added.

He emphasized that during this visit no gas agreements were planned to
sign. "We did not intend to sign any gas deals, Gazprom is drafting
additional agreements," he said.

"We realized that Turkmenistan is interested in the long-term
